Sonia Strickland is a seasoned real estate professional with over 35 years of experience. In her most recent endeavor, she helped grow a single client’s holding of one, 230-unit property to a portfolio of nearly 4000 units, acting as the Sr Vice President of Operations.
Prior to owning Alpha Omega Property Management, Sonia was responsible for a multitude of professional accreditations varying from Regional Management to founding and growth of several management divisions throughout the US. Among those she acquired and managed 19 properties, totaling 5,400 units located in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Nevada and Florida. She has successfully consulted for the largest multi-family developers in the country.
Throughout her career, Sonia has traveled the United States managing lease-ups, new construction, and repositioning assets. Testimonials from lenders, partners and team members speak of her professional commitment and love of real estate.

Selecting the wrong resident can quickly cost you what you save by managing a property yourself. Every resident application is evaluated based on credit, criminal background, sex offender registry (where allowed by law), employment verification and residency/rental history. Our thorough screening complies with all applicable laws, including Fair Housing and Fair Credit Reporting Act. We want to ensure a safe community for all residents.
When we find a qualified resident, we will schedule a lease signing session and a move-in condition evaluation after approval.
Your leasing agent manages the lease signing with the approved resident, using our professionally prepared lease, and ensures that all proper contracts are executed correctly. At the same time, rents, deposits and any fees are collected in accordance with local legal and financial regulations and recorded in your online account. We also provide professional resident education at lease signing.
Finally, the leasing agent and approved resident conduct a walk-through to document conditions. This important walk-through assists in accurately assessing any changes in conditions when the resident moves out.
Nothing affects your cash flow more than late or missing rent payments. We collect the rent every month and deposit it into your account expeditiously. Our collection processes are professional but tough, and we are extremely diligent in collecting rent through a systematic, timely process.

Even with careful placement, there is occasionally a resident who needs to be evicted. Our staff is extremely knowledgeable in state and local landlord/resident laws. If the resident does not pay rent on time or breaches the terms of the lease, we initiate the proper legal steps necessary, in the fastest possible time frame, to minimize your costs and get the property leased again.
Ask us about our eviction protection. For property owners who opt for this plan, our office will pay for the eviction should it become necessary.
